A National Historic home built in the 1880’s in downtown Terre Haute serves as the home for Serendipity Salon.  The salon is listed on the National Register of Historic Places in Indiana.  

 

The property originates from a time when the government was deeding property to immigrants. It was then sold off to such familiar local names as Farrington, Deming, Gilbert and Chancey Rose in 1831.  

 

The rich history and location downtown drew the interest of entrepreneur Cheryl Salyers. “We wanted to expand our business and stay downtown. The historic beauty of the home was the perfect fit for our type of business and culture.”
